It is almost here!!!!!!

  Just a few more hours till the premier of the new Spring/Summer Idea book from Close to My Heart.  This book is amazing!!!  I would have to say it is my favorite of all time :)

  So what did you think of  the artwork from yesterday?  Do you want to see a peak of something else?  Maybe I will show you a picture from on of the Workshop on the Go Kits????

This is the mail layout for Claire Workshop on the Go.  The colors are so girly and fun.  The embellishments that come in the kit are beautiful fabric and acrylic flowers and a set of tile like letters.  The photos in this layout are of my brother and myself when we were much, much younger.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this layout or on anything you would like to see in the future from Close to My Heart.

Home Sweet Home ... February Stamp of the Month

     I am getting so excited about the new Spring/Summer Idea Book that will be out in just 2 days.   While I was playing with some of the new products, I decided to work with the February stamp of the month.  When I first looked at it I thought great for cards to send to someone who just purchased a new home or maybe a cute piece of home decor.  Then I sat for a little bit longer and remembered I had some photos of our house when we bought it in 1999.  This stamp set would be perfect to use on a scrapbook layout.  I quickly got to work playing with this great stamp set.  Please take a look at my artwork with it and let me know what you think.

Beating the Winter Blues

     With the winter weather not really knowing what to do...snow, freezing temperatures, rain, sunny...I know what I can do.  CRAFTING is the answer.  Over the past 2 weekends I hosted the eight hour crops.  Everyone had a great time.  The Stamp Fairy made her appearance 3 times.  I even tried a new recipe for Cream of Broccoli soup.  The soup was yummy :)  Everyone had an amazing time!  The March dates are almost sold out.  If you are interested, call or email me the availability for the dates.

Christmas Layout

     Now that the holidays are over, I began to look around on my blog, and realized I forgot to post the Christmas layout from the December Biggby class.  We had so much fun that night.  If you haven't joined us yet for a class, don't wait, come on and join us for the fun.

Sneak peek #1

 I am so excited tonight.  I was able to sit and play with some of the new products that will be coming soon.  In just 2 short weeks, the new Spring/Summer Close to My Heart idea book will be live.  That means new paper, new stamps, new embellishments.  I absolutely LOVE this new book.  It is fabulous!!!    What do you think of this card????  I would love to show you the new book and all of the new products.  Let's get together and play.  Call me so we can set up your playtime.

Whooo's Your Valentine? National Papercrafting Month: January 2013

Bracket Frame

The home workshops are coming back in February.  The first one will be the Bracket Frame from Close to My Heart.  You will need to sign up by Monday, January 28, 2013 with your $20.00 payment.  You will need to decide which pattern paper you will want to use and then which set of sparkle/pearl flourishes.  I will announce the paper soon.  If you are interested in this workshop you can privately call me and will discuss your choices.

This first frame, I made for a friend for Christmas.  I used La Bella Vie paper.  The flowers are cut from the Art Philosophy and are cut at 1 3/4", 2 3/4", and 3 3/4" in Baby Pink, Blush, and Hollyhock.  I added stardust glitz to the flowers.  She absolutely loved her present!!!!

The next one I used Avonlea.  The flowers are from the Artiste cartridge.  These are cut at 1 1/4",
2 1/4", 3 1/4".  The little pink ones are at 1 3/4".

Happy New Year!!!

   Happy New Year 2013!!!!  Today is the first day to begin all kinds of new things.  Maybe you will begin a weight lose program or you will start to exercise more often.  Have you thought about your scrapbooking, cardmaking, or paper crafting?  Now is the time to start.  I would love to help you get your paper crafting supplies working for you.  There will be many opportunities in 2013, for you to get the paper crafting bug!!!!
