We are getting closer to the new Autumn/Winter Idea book from Close to My Heart. While you wait, I will share with you my two upcoming classes at Biggby in Allen Park. Both classes will teach you something new. Join us for some fun!
On August 1st will be card class. During this class you will learn how to do a faux chevron and a faux pinwheel. These techniques are so easy and cute!!
Then on August 15th we will have scrapbook class. During the scrap class we will create a travel layout. The bling for this class are new cork shapes and we will be making a pocket on the layout for those special maps, ticket stubs, and other goodies we want to keep.
I hope you will join me during this next great Idea book from Close to My Heart. You will love this next book as much as me.
Now that I have been home for a few weeks, I have finally gotten all of my convention projects put away. Before they were put away I thought I would take some pictures of them. On Thursday we created a mini album from the new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge (I forgot to photography this but I will and will post later). On Saturday morning we created 10 spinning cards and a beautiful fabric necklace. Later on Saturday evening, Close to My Heart hosted a crop for all of us. During this time we created 2 special layouts using paper and a stamp set that are designed just for convention. These layout are bold and fun!!!
*Warning there are a lot of photos in today's post.
I am home from Disney World!!! Still wish I was there :) We had a great family vacation and convention was amazing. Let me be the first to spread the word that next year's convention will be at Disneyland in California....who wants to join me for some fun!
I am going to share some photos with you over the next few weeks from my trip with the family and from convention. The family vacation was super fun. We did the 4 main parks and Disney Quest. Nate loved Disney Quest and Matt loved Epcot. We did Epcot 2 different days. I loved them all. When the boys left to go home I switched hotels for convention and to meet my room mates.
I made little paint cans filled with "Minnie" things like marker, pen, post-its, notepad, cream, mints, gum and a Minnie Mouse pin.
Then I did a special present for my two downline that can to convention. I made both of them a special keepsake box with a mini folio album inside. Now Emily and Stephanie can keep our treasures in a safe spot.
