More Christmas Cards

   Well another week has passed.  We are getting even closer to Christmas.  Have you started making your Christmas cards yet?  I have!  I purchased the new Pear & Partridge Card Workshop on the Go from Close to My Heart to make 15 cards.  I have enough supplies left over to make probably another 5.  I send out more than 20 cards to family and friends but at least this is a start.  The bonus is I can use the stamp set from the Workshop to continue to make the rest of my cards.  Tell me what you think of these from the workshop.

Christmas Cards

  I read on a friend's facebook post that Christmas is only 79 days away.  Can you believe that????  I am getting nervous already.  Thinking only 79 days make our next card class perfect in timing.  The next card class at Biggby will feature Christmas cards.  It's not too early to start making them.  Join us for class to get a jumpstart on your cards.

Class will be on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 6:30 pm.  Class will be held at the Allen Park Biggby coffee shop.  The class fee is $6.00.  Please be registered and prepay by Monday, October 29th to secure your spot for class.

Supplies you must bring with you are: scissors, adhesive, foam tape, and glue dots.

Other supplies to bring if you have them:

Tools: liquid glass, stardust glitz, juniper dauber/sponge

Stamp sets: Happy Clusters, Christmas Love, Gift of Love

Ink colors: Juniper, Tulip, Holiday Red, Baby Pink, Sweet Leaf

Blocks: 1x1, 1x1.5, 2x2, 2.5x2.5, 2x3.5, 4x4

October Stamp of the Month

    I can't believe it is already October.  Where is this year going?  I read somewhere that there are about 85 days till Christmas.  With that being said...have you seen the October Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart?  It is perfect for Christmas layouts and cards and tags.  I LOVE this stamp set.  I know what you are thinking, "Holly, you love every stamp of the month!"  I know, but this one is fantastic and I can use it on so many projects.
